Any idea how many miles I should expect to get out of my 04 td4 2.0ltr ?..only seems to do bout 25 is this normal ..thanks for any info

I do not count how much it costs any more I did it years ago and got fed up and stopped I only know I get a lot better performance and miles when I do fill up once or twice a month from shell V power , I have just come back from Ireland and the diesel over there is terrible in fact it got so bad at one point I went into the garage and got some additive to put in when I got back I went to shell and put some additive and shell v power in and now the car is running ok again.

I get about 40mpg from my Td4 on basic Murco which has been OK for a few years. However, I just stuck a full tank of basic Esso in and I swear blind it's a tad more torquey. I'll continue the experiment including my practice of bunging in a bottle of Comma Diesel Magic every 3rd tank. Difficult for me to do a prolonged test of V-Power since I have about a 15 mile drive to get any.

Is yours an auto? You'll struggle to get anywhere near 40 Mpg if it is.
Comma Diesel Magic is a very good injector cleaner. But it won't increase Mpg unless your injectors are fouled. If you're only using supermarket fuel and not used a decent cleaner lately, then they are probably well crudded up.
