Not sure. Need to wait for things to settle down, kids back at school etc, then I'll see if I can be let out.

Should be out in the series ones weather permitting, might let the mrs follow in the p38, but then again might not! Will be out Leicestershire might go further depends how long my buttocks can withstand 1950s seating

How is the midlands fixed for lanes? Our lot recently did derbyshire and I am told had a blast, but always looking for a few new routes that are worth driving for or making a weekend of it, and since the midlands are only an hour and a half or two hours up the road seems like a plan!

If Shropshire counts as the Midlands, then there are some cracking lanes.

Though there are a few trees that jump out and bash your vehicle

Id be up for it.
Previously always just checked out the greenlaning forum on mud club but thank god there is more than just that one!

Im in Solihull, happy to travel an hour or so to a meet point.

Lots of lanes here in Leicestershire, quite a variety, some completely tame you could drive down in a focus or freelander even, some are more challenging but nothing too bad, only one or two blocked aswell

Wife asked me today why I was bothering trying to get all the scratches out if I was just going to get it scratched again laning.......

.....so my case for being let out is a bit stronger than I thought


Problem is we've got to have the house rewired which meas most weekends are currently spent packing stuff into boxes etc as though moving house. Spent most of this weekend throwing old crap out of the garage.

There is some very nice lanes over the back end of Solihull and going out towards Leamington, Stratford Upon Avon Wellsbourne etc.
Ill post on here next time we venture out.
