Hi
Does anyone have any experience with Michelin XCL tyres?
And would they say good or bad tyre?
cheers

i use em on my 90 , brilliant tyres.
on the road and in the mud.
i highly recommend them.

I run 7.50x16 XCL's. Awesome off road, they were the Camel Trophy tyre for years. Bit dodgy on wet tarmac though. very long lasting too.

Just fitted today some 9.00x16 Michelin XL, which is the same pattern as XCL. 20mm tread depth, can't wait to try them out on Saturday.

900's! Will they fit on a series? Have got 8.25's on my s2 and there does'nt seem to be a whole lotta room left...
Living proof:D:D:D
Had to fit 1 ton shackles, trim the front wings, back of the bumper and adjust steering stops, but yes they fit and they're fantastic.

Fook me! That looks a bit of a squeeze at the rear!
BTW. THeres some of those monsters listed in t'Landy section of Fleabay at mo.

The first picture is before I fitted the 1 Ton Shackles, this one is after. It's pretty recent, Bumper is removed, as fitting a 2.5N/A Engine atm.:D

Tight fit and a bit of rubbing up the rear...and getting on and off at an angle... Dont let Grippa see that. He'll be messin' up his screen again! :D:D:D
