On my Series 3 2.25 petrol engine there's a whopping great metal fan that could power a spitfire plane. It causes a phenominal draft and I just wondered whether a plastic bladed viscous fan would be better and allow the temperature to rise a bit?
I could go down the road of an electric fan but I can't be bothered and thought this may be a quick fix?
Or I could use a radiator muff on the outsde I suppose!

just take the piggin thing orf - yu wont need it except in summer.

i fitted a peugeot thermo fan fur about £15 and 3 hours work. The write-up is on here if yu look.

don't try to stop the fan with your hand it will hurt.......alot.......you wioll need to visit the hospital.......and you will cry
