Is the AMF made reduntant when using Megasquirt?

Yes it is. You fit a manifold air temp sensor to work with the system.

Isn't it a MAP sensor for megasquirt that does most of the work. I think you need an inlet air temp sensor as well though to help it compensate for atmospheric.

to be honest 14cux is a robust and at least is a plug and play system the megasquirt system needs a rolling road to set the ecu properly many dont and play on the road with the lap top
