I am probably in need of having to get a few things sorted on my 110. Does anyone know of a Landrover mechanic and/or welder/fabricator in the Surrey, SW London,Berks area who does things economically for the love if it rather than £45/h for commercial reasons.

I don't want a cheap job, but a good job done cheaply. Someone who does not employ other staff or keep a large premisis and make a big profit so they can charge lower rates.

I recently had to reweld the whole of my chassis on my 90, good thing my old man is pretty good with a welder.

What needs welding? Might know someone.

Been told of someone decent in Sussex at £30/hr. Better than £45-£80. Will check hm out when I get 110 back on the road.

Rear door frame fractured in a couple of places around spare wheel holder - need fixing before I fit some strengthening struts. Just found a hole in the rear of the chassis - not as rust free as I was led to believe when I bought it. Could also do with passenger door being plated a the bottom - but may be cheaper just to scrap it.
