hi all, i'm looking for a good mechanic/workshop in west london/middx,
to sort out a 1999 p38 4.6 hse, (leaks, air s, etc.)
any recomendations??, thanx, S.

Alex Engineering in Stanmore. I've only used them for the diagnostic side. But they were always helpfull and seemed very knowledgable.

Try LRR (London Range Rovers) in Woolwich. They have worked on my car a few times and were very good.

They were on wheeler dealers when they did the RR Classic

try their website, hope this helps

Had my freelander serviced at MR Sayers yesterday and C service was done for £250 all in (minus pollen/turbo filters which I'd done myself). They had just put a new engine in a rangie and both Derek and Tony are what I'd call 'old school' in their manner and dealings. As in a pleasure to deal with. The fee was negotiated by phone and they honoured it on the day. No frills as such but no fuss and the firm has been there for 30 years - the 1971 classic in the back still gets outings to Goodwood and Brighton and looks in great shape. If there are any issues upcoming post-service I'll update... hopefully not!

hi all. sorry i took so long to get back, SAYERS MR, fantastic!!!!!!!
derek and tony really did a good job on the RR, thanx to all of you who
posted, its good to know your not alone, S.:)

just been out to SAYERS MR, these guys are really good,
and NICE to do business with,
look forward to having all my repairs etc done there,
real gentlemen.

Excellent service, typical "old school" garage absolutely brilliant. Sayers were recommended to me by another Range Rover owner so I took my RRS for a service and other work, new side steps, mudguards etc. Very impressed with the honesty and knowledge of Tony. I will definitely use them again.
