really isn't a good idea to go laning alone.

bit far for me but there's plenty of folk on here round Cumbria to go out with.

btw I reckon your motor is a '94

i know m8, but not many people thats intrested in it, so its either go it alone & try not to get stuck, or dont go?

yeah, good advice.

but what if you dont have the option?
You do have options... theres other people near you like others have said, just a matter of time before you could go out with someone else or a with a group... be patient, better than getting yaself in the ****.

Nice disco btw

he said he had no one to go with ,and better to have a go than not, maybe he can drive and not need a leader to tell him what gear or line he might need or the next 3 yards

Have to disagree with ya on that one... the best of drivers get stuck

Hear hear Sir Jamesmartin, well said!!

I'm from Cumbria, some of the best off-roading country you'll ever know.....and I often have to get into the sticks on my own. That's when knowing what you have under you can do the business.....and that's why I LOVE MY DISCO!!!

mate, like a said, good advice. and if someone on this forum is near me & fancies a day out, then cool, we'll go.

I know i could travel the country & meet like minded folk, but i have a family & a house to run & i couldnt afford to spend £100 or more on a weekend runing up & down the country to "play".

maybe us cumbrians could set up a little 4x4 club :D

but as you will all know, (north cumbria) there aint too many great lanes that are 'legal' to travel. however, there are some good lanes, that arent technically 'legal' :D

Rabbithunter...watch this space..... I'm Cumbrian, born and bred...and I've got sick of the ramblers and tourists taking all of the best routes... time for the real guys to take back the countryside!

and to others who 'played' the "guessing game" :D the disco is on a 1994 plate :D

its cleaner than a 1999 td5 that i test drove

bargain price too. :D
