This Series 3 I have just seen on ebay may or may not be stolen, but it is definitely a ringer. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/32649843...6PHDAT&hash=item4c04d2c228:g:LqMAAOSw19Bn32uR There is no way this is a genuine Series 3 and definitely not a legitimate vehicle. A commercial car dealer should know better than to sell such an obviously dodgy vehicle.

I have reported it to ebay. Not sure if it would be worth reporting to the DVLA or Police.

If it’s not stolen then DVLA or Police wouldn’t give a ****.

Looks like this has been a coil spring motor for over 10years.
So how has this not had a tug by plod for an inspection.

Someone has spent a lot of money doing this up and not getting it inspected.

Also still says 2500cc not 3.5

If I’m out after 22.00hrs…plod will drive next to me for a look.
Last tug 5years ago. Brake lights not working,well check again officer bet they are working… and a flick of a switch and all good.
And when I lived down Kent it was every week. I had a police marker on the motor.
Was removed when I left the area

Also if that was ulez compliant the people look out for the shiny motors on black silver plates. Cameras can’t recognise these

They just type the details into the system & all good. So it’s clear.
Best bet see the motor & check the numbers.
These should have been done for the hpi check

As far as any authority is concerned it's legit. I had endless problems getting the police to understand that a local TD5 registered as a tdi was most likely a ringer. I had to speak very slowly to explain to them. It took almost a year and eventually it was siezed due to someone else reporting it. Although it seems like they were using two vehicles on the same plates and the tdi got nicked and the Td5, no my knowledge, didn't, what a farce.
