Enquired about having a few bits done, here's what they came back with. Based off a Defender 90.

--------------------------

Our costs are 16 pounds per kilogram, all prices are approximate and subject to change.

Bonnet £100
90 Roof £170
Half Roll Cage £40 - While fitted to vehicle
Front Tubular A Bumper £50
HD Tubular Rock Sliders £50
Snorkel £25
NAS Rear Step £50
Wheel Arches £20 each
Steering Guard £40.00
Window Guards all round £80 - Sides, Quarters & Alpine
Wing top chequer plate inc Snow Cowl £10

All parts will be in colour black, if there is any particular colour you would like, that will cost extra 20% of all price.
If you would like to LineX’d the whole car, that would cost you approximately £1500+ this includes prep work

------------------------

As we where speaking he told me that if the parts are removed from the vehicle it is cheaper than if fitted.

Don't think its too bad for most of it especially since the paint cant really be damaged. Probably going to get the majority of that done next year, means I can fit it all on and not have to really worry about it being scratched or damaged :). Should keep the majority looking smart as well.

He did mention a couple people in the UK have had entire chassis done which if its new/galv I think is clever. Would never have to worry just make sure to dintrol/waxoyl in inside regularly.

ouch thats some mark up on the chemicals

ive just ordered the kit to do this for a decommisioning project at work (to hold contamination in place whilst some tanks are demolished) the chemicals work out at about £4 a kilogram (roughly)

The kits pretty expensive £25,000 for the set up but the returns are obviously massive.

I would suggest instead of line x you look at other polyurea specialists so you arent paying huge money for a brand name ;)

I was thinking of getting my chassis done and the underside of the entire body! *edit... the 110's chassis - not MY chassis *

Ive got a sample of polyurea sheeting that was sprayed onto my desk. Its my mousemat now haha. very clever stuff!

I here it's good stuff that linex. I was trying to get hold of some to spray my bumpers with but don't want to buy a 50k franchise lol

They do look mean when done but what about rot underneath will it just cover up stuff whilst it rots underneath.
