got to be first priorty how a mud tyre performs on the road

i travel 20 miles a week to and from work so know its not a priority its more for fun/looks

just a general tyre review:)

sorry if its upset you

They are the tyres I've used for about a year (285/75 16) and I promise you they are NOT good on road. They are good off road, I do some serious stuff but trust me they are close to dangerous on road. They use a lot more fuel too. The main problem is that they don't displace any water. I've locked up my wheels a few times coming up to roundabouts in the pouring rain and even aquaplaned once on a corner but luckily I quickly corrected it.

In short;
5/5 off road
2/5 on road

I imagine abs would help but in my experience they are horrible on wet roads.

You are driving to fast and you don't have enough of your nobs on the tarmac:Tryer surface contact with the road surface is lacking:eek::eek:

must say the new bfg mt's (km2) i put on my old 90 are awesome first time out with all 4 on today.
where as with the insa special tracks i had on before where not worth the little bit better off-road performance (not really discernible differance) dry roads they would drift alarmingly and all over the shop under braking.
the bfg's have better road manners (wet or dry) than the general grabber road tyres i used to have on the 110 double cab.
