Hi all. I apologize for the clumsiness, I am writing from Google translator. I have a Freelander 1998 1.8 petrol with ABS, the brake master cylinder is broken. According to the catalog there should be SJC100370, but this is not on sale in my country. Or there is, but it’s original and costs as much as a third of the car. But there is SJC000010 in large quantities and at a good price. Question! 1. Are they interchangeable? 2. If not, can it be replaced as an assembly with a vacuum brake booster and reservoir?
Thank you in advance

The parts aren't interchangeable. The early master has an integral reservoir. The later one has a remote reservoir. The booster is also different, and so is the amount of fluid moved per stroke of the cylinder, which means the ABS modulator could also get upset.
Your cheapest option is to get a seals kit, even if you have to physically measure the size seals you need. Alternatively have a new master shipped from a cheaper country.

That part number has been superseded by SJC100371 evidently. Try that part number.

A quick Google finds this...

Which is 'only' £155 + VAT.

I'm on the other side of the world and order from UK. Its still cheaper than buying local even after shipping costs.

I've never bought from those people, but I'm pretty sure they used to sponsor this forum.
