I have Alfa seats in the Disco for some odd reason...comfort i guess.

The passenger one doesn't respond to any of the 3 buttons, tilt, height and summat else...I've been told the pad in the seat is gone and i may as well change them, it'd be quicker/cheaper.

While i wait, can electric seats be manually adjusted as its way too high and straight???

Ta.

I don't think it'd be easy, you'd have to get in where the motors are and try and turn it. Electric seats that don't work are an MoT failure point now I'm pretty sure.

Pretty easy to get to the motors....the seatbase is in the highest position!

The Doris almost needs a ladder to get in/out and she's on her way to 6 foot. (Not under, yet.).

We have a 400 mile journey soon and she really wants her seat fixed ...mines great! Lol.

Try activating the relays by hand using a power pack ? Or cleaning switch with electrical cleaner ?

For all 3 to go at same time would be immense odds...there is power to the switches which led me to believe its the pad in the seat tbh.

Hmmm switch may want stripping and cleaning out if not scrap the seat :p unless you can activate the motors ?

I will end up putting disco ones back in after my hols...just needed advice as to whether we can do a temp fix so she stops bleating...
