I need one of the manifold inserts for the rocker cover on rear bank on the V6. As you look at the engine it's the one on the left and connects to its twin brother on the front bank also on the left. Now there are two inserts on the rocker cover the one I need is the larger of the two. Rimmer's list two, this one:

LZN100220, without the L in the part number so one for the 75?

and this one:

LZN100390L with the L so a Landy part.

Are they both the same? They look it, and is it the one I need?

Thanks in anticipation.

Thanks for the replies chaps. Bit more digging and it's not the inserts I want. Apparently not available on their own. I'll message the Guru though just in case.

Thanks.

Grey one on the left is red on ma hippo...
left is bigger than the one on the right

The link above I posted talks about getting a metal version and fitting that instead, but they have a thread. It would mean choosing the right size for the hole.

What's wrong with the original? Could it be sealed with something if it can't be replaced? It looks like rover kv6 owners suffer with this problem too. I wonder if @Nodge68 has come across this problem anorl.

I'm in the process of replacing a rattly manifold and whilst I was at it clean out the breathers and renew the meshes. Managed to remove all of the other hoses and inserts quite easily, this one wouldn't budge until the grey clip snapped. My plan B revolves around using some heat shrink to hold the pipe in place, it's not as if it's load bearing or anything similar, just needs to stay put and be sealed.

I find it truly amazing that we can't get a replacement.
