Whats your ****in problem .
Some people join up when they need to ask a question, when they are covered in oil and greese and on the verge of burning or bashing their crock of **** lamb rover .Maybe you would prefer them to post how much they hope to be able to take part in the fun and frivolity .
Just coz you joined a few months ago and have nearly 2000 posts.
Are you the senior member who started the "noobs" thread a few weeks ago ,or are you jumping on a band wagon ?
Time for your medication Wooluf, Beep Beep:)

ignoring the infighting that's going on, I would be in touch with Land Rover Customer Services about the poor service you are receiving from the dealers and that they are dragging the good name (!) of Land Rover down the pan and see if they can lean on the dealers.

Has worked a couple of times before for peeps on here.

Personally, I think the dealers are all a bit up themselves on the back of selling Range Rovers and Disco 4's to wedged up idiots who just pose round in them and never take them off road, rather see them as a premium vehicle (e.g. footballers)

Would do well to remember their farming and utility roots and go back to basics of reliable machinery and customer service.

A little progress being made now via LR HQ and the warranty company...

Combined views of this and the thread on another forum are just shy of 2000...

I agree with Optimus - i did this with Ford years ago when i bought a Mondeo - garage started to f**k me about and not do what they promised - one call to Ford and the boss person of the garage rung me up with a full apology and gave me everything i asked for.

Good luck

LR warranty underwriter has just agreed to pay in full for the driveshafts.

This is NOTHING to do with the dealer AFAIK but still a result! Many pounds saved!

TBH I'm tempted to look at moving it on anyway and get a new one.

Sounds like you're gradually starting to turn this battle around.

Any news on the gearbox?

Now I'm confused - as usual...

I'd remove that last bit just incase they try and turn it on you as blackmail, not the pop bit

As to getting rid of it, stick it on ebay and you'll get some bites. Probs make back what you paid tbh just tell them its been refurbed :p

Yeah if you want shot of it you could always tell them you're sick of the fact its spent more time in for more repairs than on the road and you want a refund or to exchange it for the same price you paid as an exchange against one of their other vehicles, then make sure you check the new one out properly

See if they play ball with that offer
