Two diesel variants, both mechanically identical.

115ps, and 135ps. Both generate same 300nm or 220 foot pounds of torque.

None vnt turbo, much smaller turbo actually is same used on the Renault 1.5 dci engines. Compate it to a td4 or L series and it looks miniscule.

My own 75 is throwing out about 155 bhp and 270 foot pounds but we can never get the dynos to read it right being an auto that you can't lock up. Similar manuals with remap by same agency as mine usually are throwing out 155bhp and closer to 280 foot pounds.

All on standard boost. Mines been brought up to 21.5 psi now and it's perfect. Helps the trips to Austria on the autobahns much easier to stomach.

Got me stumped lol......especially the extra torque the R75 has, maybe it's the loss through the transmission. Only way to know that is to bench test both engines. I'm happy with how mine drives now. :)

True. Transmission readings are a nightmare. Few Freelanders I've saw on rolling roads have actually ended up having less torque as the rear wheels would occasionally drag and so on.
