Another quick question bought a 2013 D4 today, was checked out by local JLR specialist guy owner heard a pinging sound and loss of power
Guy turned up unplugged maf sensor and it idles no rattling or knocking he stated turbo or turbos any one have any ideas, couldn't just be maf sensors could it? Any heads up appreciated haven't had chance to do any inspection as yet collecting tomorrow see what codes pop up

Hi mate

Wonder if maybe the manifold has split or TSOV turbo fault ?, out of curiosity is the map sensor also clean plse

Have sent some links over to u which I hope is useful

Sorry as not really familiar with these engines but hopefully its something simple and scanner gives u something to go on

Just thought , could the DPF be blocked plse, assume live data will show u what both sensors are showing

yes maf sensor can cause it the d4 should have 2 of them swop them over and see if the fault follows the sensor

Good call mate , assume the ecm goes back to its default state when the Maf sensors are unplugged

Alas don’t know what the G/S live data readings are on the D4

Yes front sensor labled (b)
also does temperature too has 4 wires rear sensor does just maf has 3 wires both mafs are same part number
Will list codes tomorrow
Got my eye out for you mate will find you one cheap as chips next then you'll have a brace of discovery
Have mafs from Other D4 to switch
Missis ordered leather cleaner Lol
Amazing graphic on that video gives you a great picture
