andyb66 Well-Known Member Jan 21, 2009 #2 Assuming a petrol engine then the only thing worth cleaning on the intake would be the throttle butterfly in the throttle body. Any deposits in there can give a flucuanting idle and 'sticky' throttle response.

andyb66 Well-Known Member Jan 22, 2009 #4 Still can't see what there is to clean in a MAF. IIRC the TD4 is a 'hot wire' system for the air flow.
