I am considering painting my beloved defender in Protecta-kote non slip paint. The whole thing outside in grey.

I know the idea of non-slip paint is to be walked on but it looks an awesome product and will cover all pretty completely!

What do you reckon?

Ive seen the "line-x" defender and think it looks good. I have spoken to one guy who has used proteca-kote on his roof and bonnet and raves about it.

Talk to me!

yuck and also plastidip yuck

Depends, cos you could do it plastidip matt black, and then in theory have a very rugged finish that you can just peel off and re do.

Don't worry, I like mine in red, was just an idea

plastidip is pricey and can have issues with uv discolouration.

for specific use cases it seems good, but not for general repainting imo

That car is fugly.

I have been thinking of spraying my Defender with Raptor stuff, I quite like the effect it has and it'd make it quite noticeable if it ever got nicked. Also, no problems with scratches etc. when laning.

This belongs to someone on here. Can't remember w
