I love my 4.4 even though i complain and it's got niggles like the heater not working like it should, i think that's the single worst fault. Which isn't bad.John has the 3.6?

Wheel balance? Full of water? Sounds unlovedWent to see it.
Is the steering supposed to wobble at around 60mph?
Filthy, like mouldy and it stank anorl.
Crock of ****e.
Me Jaaaaag was a lovely drive on the way back (100mile round trip).
Oh well there will be others.
It was. When the tailgate was up the roof line was thick with green gunge along the whole width of it. They'd got some sort of strong air freshener all over the inside, obviously to hide something. The centre console was filthy inside as well and the tyres were worn on the shoulders. It had heavy tinted windows and was very dark inside and seemed cramped for such a big car.Wheel balance? Sounds like you dodged a bullet there, very wise move, there are lots about. It was. When the tailgate was up the roof line was thick with green gunge along the whole width of it. He asked me what I wanted for mine so I gave him a silly figure and he didn't argue. A 2nd hand car dealer not arguing over a valuation? Something not right there.
Well they say never buy the first you see.
Was a nice drive back though.
As soon as I turned up at the place I thought dodgy. Couldn't see it from the road as it was behind metal fencing. Chap said, and I quote, "my wife says it's like the Texas Chain Saw Massacre in my yard".Sounds like you dodged a bullet there, very wise move, there are lots about.
Me search continues.
I've messaged and or called 3 garages with a view to looking at what they've have. Two haven't bothered to reply, whilst the third one I've spoken to 4 times and given my contact details to and they still can't be bothered to return me calls.
Now I though we were in recession and that businesses needed our money? Clearly that's wrong.
They one I've called 4 times now I'm minded to play them a long a little, just for the fun of it.
Garage near me has more work than they can handle. I think parts quality is so long they're constantly fixing and refixing stuff.
Well next was, sorry to admit this maybe a senior moment, a very nice Freelander 2.
Only it were a crock of ****e. Rusty in boot, rust on the inside of the wheel arches, cheap and tacky inside anorl. Cheeky bastid sales bloke was saying how good it was. Complimented me on how clean me Jaaaaag was but offered me less than WBA say they'd give me for it. Hadn't the heart to tell him they'd said the heap of junk he was flogging was worth half the advertised price.
He did say I should flog it private though as I'd get more than I paid for it 8 years ago.

I love my S-type. Being a 2001 I think it is definitely getting close to EOL but I cannot bring myself to sell it.
