Hi there just out of curiosity, the bolts for the m62tub44 conrods and crank bearing caps do they actually need to be replaced as cant really find anywhere that says they should but neither have I found somewhere where it says they shouldn't, just curious to if anyone knows ?

They can be re-used.

Wait really only because I thought they might of been stretch bolts so would’ve thought if they were they would’ve needed to be replaced ?

I've rebuilt 6 M62's and used the original bolts.

None have fallen apart..

Just very expensive for new ones that’s all aha

Oh okay well that’s promising then, guess mine will be going back together with the original bolts then
