I have a small ace leak in the range Rover Sport rear ace bar. Has anyone used lucas power steering stop leak rather replacing it?

I'm not familiar with the RR ACE system but if it's anything like the Discovery ACE system, it goes up to about 1800 psi, so no amount of magic fluid will stop that leaking...

It works no leaking at all for 2 weeks hopefully it’s long term.

Hi adzzz, I’ve got the similar problem but at the front from the sway or anti roll bar, but it’s coming from the pipe area, just read your post, has it still cured it? As I’m will to give it ago, the only thing that’s putting me off is the filter part

Mine is still not leaking. The pipes might need replacing as they rust a lot. If you get them replaced or if they are showing signs of rust spray waxoyl spray. I got quoted 300 odd pounds for new pipes being replaced by
Promec Land Rover Repair Cardiff but I just sprayed mine as mine was not leaking.

On any metal high pressure hoses,if it is the metal tubing that has holed/rusted through, try cutting bad section out and use suitable compression fittings and pipe to make repairs,i have used this on mini suspension, worked great,if new hoses needed go to a local hydraulic pipe reparer such as pirtek, they will make one up and be much cheaper than buying gen item, but take old pipe to use as pattern.I have used Able hydraulics before now for similar things.
