Ordering new? have you priced one up yet, I've seen new ones listed between £600 and £2K+Sorry if its been done to death but ive been looking online to see what tunnel and seatbox to use with my v8 conversion... ive been lead to believe that my current r380 tdi tunnel and seatbox will fit the lt85 and id like to confirm this before ordering a new seatbox
You what? Stuff that, floors and seats are overated ill just squat, i thought id seen one for like 160 odd... even at that do you know if they fit?Ordering new? have you priced one up yet, I've seen new ones listed between £600 and £2K+
Think the MXC8555 is the LT85 one, the other two are for the R380.good to know this kwakerman .... i have an LT85 and a tranny tunnel to go with i need to flog. .... IIRC going to V8 (as i was going too) you just need to hack a bit of the seat box and the bulkhead and with the right tranny tunnel it hides all the hacking
If id known yesterday i couldve bought the box but got my own (how much were you looking out of interest?) And same question with the tunnel? Can you ship to NI?good to know this kwakerman .... i have an LT85 and a tranny tunnel to go with i need to flog. .... You sure that's a genuine company / website? Had a look around it, no contact details, no returns policy etc. Just looks like a half done website hoping to draw someone in. I would be wary of it, that said I could be wrong but I wouldn't risk my money there. £165 for a seatbox (it doesn't actually say its new) is too cheap, no one would bother repairing theirs for that price.Cheers then thats the part number for me , theres a website called the lanny doctor was selling an r380 seatbox for 165 new, basically that one will do if i hack it but ill need a new tunnel? Lets hope they arent hard to find haha
Had a feeling that it was too good to be true.... maybe get one molded out of solid gold to save money over genuineYou sure that's a genuine company / website? Just picked up one for 70 quid from the scrapyard.... its in scrapyard condittion but still miles better than my own.... somebodies chopped through the top of it at the gearbox hole.... just looking at it how do i cut the hole out bigger as theres a flange on it and if i remove that then ive nowhere to attach the tunnel? You could always try ordering one and see what happens then report back
