So bought new reverse light switch for a few quid from paddocks , didn't realise there was 2 different types ,trust me to get the wrong one I needed prc8204 and the price of these are soooo expensive...

I did the same thing,but still used it anyway, just put another nut on and locked it off at the right length.

Seems obvious but don't forget to have it in reverse when screwing in the adjustable-type switch!

Yeah am aware of having it in reverse ,was going to do it this morning while I was changing gearbox oil but then realised it was different, will after be this weekend now as back to work tomorrow
