Can anyone advise please?
I recently replaced the rear output oil seal on my 90. The following morning the catch pan is full of clean EP90 with a drip from the handbrake drum.
I used a Bearmach replacement kit and replaced the rubber seal, felt washer and nylon nut. Is this common?
I haven’t dismantled it yet to see if it’s possible to tell whether the rubber or felt washer is leaking.

many thanks

Check the spring is still in place on the seal and is the land still in good order on the out put flange?

Speedi sleeve, mutts nuts, stopped my s2 rear output from leaking which it had been doing for the pervious decade!
Some cars its cheaper to replace the flange itself, but early s2 output flanges were 150 quid

To have failed that quickly and that much suggests either the spring has come off the seal or, as said, the surface is ****ed. Maybe try a better seal... I wouldn't trust bear mach with such things
