Has any one read this months LRO -

According to their Steve Jones - Electrics and Electronics specialist the way to cure the P38 Diesel hot start fault is to simply cut the temperature sensor wire so that the engine thiks its cold all the time !!!!
What a complete Twonk - yes we all know it will think its cold all the time and so will your fuel consumption and tickover speeds. Also god help you if your engine gets too warm cos you wont know about it and neither will the ecu so you will completely cook the lump with no prior warning.
Not only does this guy not understand p38's but he obviously doesn't understand engine controllers at all.

Is it Me - or should I find a better landrover magazine

try this for a tip, insert a switch between the wire for the temp sensor, flip it and the car will think its cold, flip it again and the car will know its warm!!!

now how do i write a column!!!
