Morning all

The winder on my '87 90 front drivers side window has stopped working. Heard a clunk then the winder was running freely and the glass just slipped down. I think the bit inside is called the regulator.

Is it possible to fix this or will it require a new one!

Take the door card off and have a look ye lazy feker but yeah everything is repairable if you know how

I suppose I should have expected that!

I am planning to do that but at the moment I'm in a car park trying to jam it shut so I can do my shopping!

Is it fairly idiot proof (i.e. doesn't need any expertise) once I have the door cover off?

Yeah pretty much idiot proof like the rest of the car just need to identify which bits let go and go from there
