Discovery 4 SDV6 2013

We having a problem with LR4 and need some advice please, i will post what the mechanic's diagnosis is,
First of all the engine sounds good, there's no error codes and there is still power

Symptoms:
- When exceeding 2 000+ RPM and returning to idle it blows out white smoke, smells like oil and it definitely has a sent so not water
- The Turbos are definitely whining a bit louder than the other Disco 4's i have seen
- When opening the the filler cap even when just starting the engine there is white smoke coming out. The amount of air blowing out the filler cap is the same as other LR4's, its just the smoke that is added
- There is a oil leak, also seems a bit intermittently leaking and then stopping... If that makes any sense. Probably when engine is running the oil is obviously hot and more prone to leaking. The oil leak seems to be focused around the rear half of the engine.
- Still has tones of power
- No errors or limp mode (Actually im lying there is a 1 errors, something about glow plug in cylinder 1
- Engine is running super smooth
- If driving the car under 2000 RPM there is no smoke

The mechanics report:
- Blow-by causing oil leak
- Left turbo noisy

We not sure what to believe as they determined this in 1 hour,
If you unscrew the oil cap and leave it in place its dead still, the same as other disco 4's so its hard to believe there is huge amount of blow-by

Any tests we can perform to help narrow down the problems, the problems in question is the smoke after accelerating when returning to idle

Iirc the symptons are first start of the day all good then some hard acceleration produces loads of smoke for a while until it clears, then it stays clear for the rest of the day, next day the same and so on.
Think the pipe mod moves the position of the turbo oil return pipe in the engine block.

Have you checked the turbo shafts for play/oil etc?
 
If the left turbo really is noisy - consistently, not just 'first thing', it could well be the bushings collapsing. I'd suggest getting an endoscope poked down to it and checking for contact witness marks. Even with the drain mod carried out, a failing turbo could exhibit the behaviour you describe.
Get it checked, properly & soon - ingesting bits of turbo is an engine-killer.
The safe VIN for the oil drain to be factory fitted is DA676457, prior to that, LTB00487 applies.
