My landy has the original seats, but i need some serious head support, the bad thing is that i can't fit just any regular seat, since i don't fit afterwards (i'm pretty big, 6'4, 230 pds), what seats fit? I don't want to risk getting my neck damaged in a crash....

any seats will fit in a series(maybe with a little fettling) a lot of people fit seats from vauxhall's ;)

Very interesting, the detail is that vaxhaull doesn't exist in my country....hehe, i tried fitting seats from nissan or mitsubishi, but they're too thick on the bottom and force me to be way to near the wheel

1/8" steel plate, lots of foam, bit of black nasty (PVC if you want to be posh), drill, nuts & bolts and a bit of time - heh presto you're finished;) :D

Thems outa an acclaim !!!!!!!!!!!. I also got the steering column shroud to fit as well using the lights switch and the control stalks and the ignition.

Regards WP.:D

Hehehehe, triumph seats....nope i don't have holden, or austin, or triumph, here's the companies that sell in this country (don't get sick, i've gotten used to it) hyundai, toyota, honda, nissan, volkswagen, mitsubishi, kia, mazda....those are the mainstream industries....the rest, it's small groups

Honda civic seats work if you unbolt everything off them and weld a couple of tabs on the bottom to take the posts from the original LR sliders. I have them in my truck. Think that they were from a 1991. not power.. (I'm 6' 2" and 220. I have a fair bit of room left over so you should be fine...)

ermm get a bit of tubing and some ply wood foam and some plastic leather stuff and make urself some if u ent done it already i will take picture of them tomorrow to show u

I have non standard sests in mine and i hardly fit at 150 pnds, gona remove them. u may find it easyer to fit used head rests to to the pannel behind the seats, or even to the original seat. Non standard seats are often thicker at the back and you end up with a more upright driving position, u may like it but i and the little woman both find it a pain

Fit a bar that replaces the bulkhead behind the seats. Fairly easy & gives you a feck sight more leg room & space for more substantial seats.

Raceing bucket seats?

Is there more room behind the seats in a lwb than a swb? Seem to remember that the fuel filler pipe on the lwb is infront of the rear bulkhead (for a front fitted tank) but on a swb it is in the tub behind the bulkhead. Does that mean you can fit a bulkier seat in the lwb?
