I need to carry out a repair on the loom where it comes out the rear chassis leg to the near side rear lights. Someone has pieced in about a foot and a half of 3 core flex at some point. Where is the best place to get the correct LR coloured wire that I need ??

Would standard 7 core trailer/light board cable not suffice? Cheaper and easier to get hold of I would have thought
:)
I have got a length of that somewhere, but I wanted the colours to match. Maybe I’m being too fussy to be honest. It’s better than the bloody mess that’s on it the now I suppose 😏

No. Sorry, I should have said it’s the 90.
Talking about the D2, I have very regretfully decided to sell it 😞
No worries, just that I'm going to pick up a D2 rear passenger door & I noticed the rear light looms/connectors are still there & I would have removed them for you before they weigh it in.

What colours do you need ?

I done a partial rewire on my last 90, well....both front light looms & the whole rear end I used twin core red n black but used the
correct coloured insulating tape so when I sold it & anyone had to open up the loom they would know how it was wired.
I also ran all the earths back to the battery & used another earth to the chassis. That was a pain but much better than the cr@ppy
earths from the lights to body that always fail.

Anyhow wots the D2 like I was looking for another disco.

For new looms see here.............https://www.autosparks.co.uk/

Hi

Does this also help u as they do a wide range of colours, I’ve also used wire end ferrules and the dedicated crimpers

I'll check it out and get back to you.
Colours required.
Green red trace
Green purple trace
Green brown trace
Red yellow trace
Red black trace

I just noticed there’s another two core cable in the mix with a live and neutral red and black wire. It’s a mess 🤬

Invest in some solder and heat shrink and get rid of those crimp connectors while you're at it. They're nothing but trouble!
