hi guys

Did the search and really nothing covers my question.

I am driving around in hot spain and not wet uk and hopefully someone could tell me what oil I should use in the LT77 box. HP 90, ATF or some other wonderful mixture?

And is there some oil pump in the box?????

It deffo int HP90, Atf is wot I use but think I saw a post on here from Take5 that sez summat else is betterer. Do annuffer search or PM him in case he dunt see this fred.

I put MT 75 in mine and it made things much easier changing gear wise and its quieter too

ok but in hot climates is thicker oil better?

If you use a fully synthetic MT75 then the heat factor does not really apply as fully synthetic is better at coping with extremes of hot and cold

Yes there is. Its a gear pump in the fifth gear extension, the drain plug in the extension is immediatly below it and the pump draws it's oil through a filter above the drain plug an squirts it down the middle of the gearbox main shaft and out through the roller bearings.
