Get a plug spanner and take one of the old ones out, see what they are, and replace them with some bright and shiny new ones!

Simple, innit?? :D:D

Why change something if it works??

when I had mine converted to LPG the installer (local indy LR specialist) suggested replacing the plugs with iridium ones.

They handle the slightly increased temp & clearner burn better and apparently last a lot longer than normal plugs (over 40,000 miles).

To be fair mine ran fine on the old plugs when she was petrol fuelled only and runs very nicely on the new plugs on LPG so I don't know for cetain that she wouldn't have run OK on LPG on the old plugs but I took their advice and had the iridium ones fitted (included in the cost of the conversion anyway)

be carefull, v8's dont tend to like fancy plugs, avoid champion and those bosch 4 prong jobbies like the plague, v8's hate em. ngk bpr6es are as good as anything, cheap to buy and good quality. whats the point in putting an expensive fancy plug in when you can fit 3 sets of the above for the same price. rather than plugs, with lpg your better spending the money on good leads like magnacors and a high output coil such as a flamethrower. these REALLY make a difference to the spark, fatter the better with lpg.
