Very true...factor in the 12-15% less efficent nature of LPG and you'll get your figures...so that would be about 2-3 days!Saint I think you have forgotten that mpg would be higher on petrol....
..... but this does not alter the fact that the OPs question seemed a bit odd
Personnally I doubt it was the LPG cooling pipes that overheated the unit. With a hot exhaust manifold radiating lots of heat nearby, they may even have helped keep it cool(er)!!

I know....If you've got vap heater pipes under the ABS unit running on Petrol won't mean they get hot. It's normally just a loop off the heater hoses and doesn't have any valves to start stop the water.
It is the only thing I can think of that has fried my ECU....Sorry that wasn't meant to come across as an "egg sucking" comment just trying to get a clearer pic of what you are trying to achieve. If it was me I'd just run the Vap heater hoses a different way. It's better to keep them short but my P38 manages ok and the vap on that is bolted to the N/S inner wing and the take off for the pipes is by the brake accumulator.
