Hello everyone
I am having a moan here but would like to hear everyones different points of view here. Ready.............
Everyone here loves their Range Rovers/Landrovers etc but what gets me is this frigging government in the UK, thier views on global warming and the sky high road tax prices they impose to try and stop us from buying cars which supposedly ruin the environment and is going to use less than 50 mpg!!!!!! There saying that soon people are going to have to pay £950 for their road tax.
I'm sorry but alot of governments are jumping on the band wagon on this environmental crap to get extra money out of us all. Whatever the excuse is, and it has been scientifically proven that this year 2008 is getting colder!!!! and you can find enough reputable scientists to argue that global warming is aload of bollo#ks and its just the way the world changes as it does, why should we have to start being punished because of the cars we drive...
Why is it that governments in this country hate 4x4's what happend to the right that people can buy whatever car they choose, I don't see them having a go at the 'tax fiddles' Mitsubishi warriors etc or Bentley Arnarge's or Mercedes Benze etc.
I hope soon that Landrover soon build a LPG or so called 'Hybrid car' that has still a big engine and can stick two fingers up to the government as it won't be stung for any high tax laws!!! and don't even get me started on the excessive fuel duties imposed on our petrol
Don't get me wrong as I will always drive a landrover but it just pi**es me off that we get stung all the time because of the cars we drive.
