What mileage should i be geting from my rr hsr 4.6 lpg. Im geting 220 miles to 80ltrs of gas.

Don't knock it Allan ..thats pretty damned good is that !!!! I used to get 300ish outta my 4.0 Disco with a 105 litre tank .....

so 220 outta 80 litres is fine by my reconing!!!!

80 litres is APPROX 18 Gallons so thats 12.222222 MPG ...over 220 miles

Tis Good mate ... very good

See yer gotta factor in the 55p ish cost per litre 80 litres at 55p = £44.00

£44.00 worth of petrol would only get you 8 Gallons ..... using 15 as a "Rough" average MPG on Petrol you'd get 120 miles for your £44.00

on LPG yer getting 220 miles fer yer £44.00

So yer travellin 100 further for a "Given" amount of Cash ......MPG figures are irrelvent when calculating cost on LPG.. On LPG yer car actually DOES LESS to the gallon than on Petrol

but calculating it out as above .. YOU GO FURTHER for THE SAME AMOUNT OF MONEY!!!!

That is exactly the same as I get from my RRC Classic most of the time. seen 250 but 220 is about right and its an 80 litre tank. Mine is single point open loop. I am pretty sure the reason systems like mine have such a bad rep is due to the owners trynig to make it uese less gas by leaning it off in the persuit of better MPG when it was running fine

Hi thats simlar to the milage iam getting out of my rangie as well the best i have had out fo 80 usable litres is 275 miles but on average just knocking around town its usually 220-250 miles, but it depends how heavy iam on the loud peddle.

im getting 140 out of 80l of gas as i have a 100l tank so think that is great will be tryin to sort mine out as think i should be getting around what you are can you tell me is this motorway or town driving or a mix of the 2??

LPG will not run if the temp is under 5 Degrees .. NO WAY
