Did comment on another thread that I was going into the centre of Peterborough to find cheap gas at the Flogas Depot. What a shocker.
I pulled up to a mumbling driver loading a cylinder. Asked if he worked at the depot and he replied"I be bloody well off if I worked here robbing barstools!" . I went into the office and asked the price. 79p . Your at the distribution depot and its 7p more expensive than the local garage down the road. But the pumps are down at that garage and selling at a loss if they worked !!
Its a total rip off. There has to be a control in prices as the whole country will come to a hault over this. I think its 75p at the calor depot in Bury St Edmunds.
I'm finding a lot of pumps out of order around me. I think they are just waiting for the 80p litre price before getting so called broken pumps fixed.

Before I bought my diesel Rangie I looked into LPG. Mainly because I've got a 1000 litre tank in the back garden for heating and wondered just how hard would it be to get it out?

You can buy the pipe and adaptor to fit the filler on your Rangy tank and fill up as per the garage. Not supposed to though;)

saw 76.9 per litre this morning in Haydock:eek:

I thought there must've been a way!
They filled our tank last week and I think we paid about 55p a litre. I guess the rest must be tax! The robbing feckers...

Hi everyone i pay 69.9 at my local asda in queensferry in flintshire but i must admit the price should be regulated as it differs so much, another lpg seller by me sells for 72.9 iwill stick to asda.

Had my V8 for almost 2 years now and when I bought it lpg was 45.9 here ( it's now 72.9 ) so it made running it about the same cost as running my diesel disco unfortunately with the rising price of fuel etc the v8 is being sold on Saturday :( and I'll stick to making my bio for the disco, screw them I'm not paying any fuel duty.......

until the spring time when there's loads of work about and I buy another V8 :D

LPG is also going up here, 35Kg cylinders were €62 a short while ago, last week €81.79. I use them for heating the holiday cottage, can't have a tank as the island floods. To bloody expensive to heat the place year round now so I shut it up in winter. Need to look at heat pumps:D

It's the pensioners on a local council estate I feel sorry for, most of them have had oil fired heating fitted in recent years to replace storage heaters, which was great until the price of heating oil rose by more than double in the last 18 months.
Price in Jan 2009 was 33ppl,
price in Jan 2011 is 73ppl :(
