Hi all,
My 4.0 GEMS has LPG installed and runs on it fine. However, if you've seen my previous thread (Still losing water) I've run the car tonight for about 40 miles on petrol only and don't seem to have the same issue.
I've had a look at my setup and I've come up with a query and a possible fault that will need further investigation.
The coolant supply to the reducer is T-ed off the supply and return for the heater. Now I can't see that this will provide any 'flow' around the reducer short of some suction as the coolant flows to the heater matrix and back.
For my money, the supply for the reducer should be T-ed off EITHER the supply or the return for the heater, but not both, using two elbows instead of two Tees.
Anyone with LPG on their RR got a setup that sounds similar to mine, or sounds similar to what I think it should be?
I've a feeling that the area that needs further investigation is the reducer itself because something is pressurizing my water supply and the run on petrol only doesn't seem to cause it.
