Hi Folks

Having a few problems

A filled up with gas yesterday and after about 15 minutes driving a shrill buzzing noise started coming from, it sounds like, the Prins LPG button on the dash. There is a flickering orange light as well. It stopped yesterday, but has come on again after about 15 minutes of driving. I was wondering whether it was when the LPG was going to kick in this was happening?

I have also looked in the engine as I thought it may be coming from in there and it sounding like it was coming from the dashboard but there is nothing coming from there which makes me think it is the dash or in particular the LPG system

This buzzing noise is now continuing even when stopped and this is 20 minutes after I have parked up and gone into the house? Even the orange light is still on!

Any help appreciated.

The unit is only live when the ignition is on. Check the wiring from the switch forward, you may have a short.

Thanks for the advice

Booked in for Prins service on Saturday to sort why the LPG is bit working
And what is causing the intermittent buzzing which for the moment has stopped buzzing!

I will update when fixed invade anyone in future has similar problem

New switch and wiring bought and installed ... Sorted

Cool...was gonna chip in and say either a relay or the main switch. The plug at the back of the switch on my OMVL system was gummed up and shortly after buying the car I could hear a buzzing noise...think a relay was doin 1000 beats a minute. Cleaned up the switch and ran fine until one of the relays at the rear of the car failed...but that was a simple fix for my local LPG garage.
