I find even with the steering wheel raised to full adjustment I cant see the top of the speedo when driving and if I put the sunshade down for low sun it blocks out most of my view through the windscreen?
had the same problem ( i'm 6' )
for speedo viewing i mounted a 'scangaugeII' forward of the steering wheel
.
What's a scan gauge and how do you fit one?
Are they expensive to buy?
not looked into it myself .. lowering the seat would screw my back up ..I really do need to lower the seat, but I want to do it right. Is there a way?

getting a custom seat built might be a solution
How tall are you guys?
Im 6'0, I have the steering wheel in the fully up position, drivers seat is reclined a little and fully back on the rails - I can see the dials perfectly through the steering wheel.
To replicate the problem of not seeing the top of the speedo (steering wheel obscuring)
I had to raise myself to the point of my head touching the sunroof trim, the view through the windscreen is terrible while sat like this and probably dangerous
Strange cos in my normal driving position I must have 6 inches above me
Bugger...theory out the windowI have fabric seats and I have the problem.
