hi
after looking through the manual and searching the forum i can;t seem to find how much fuel is left when the warning light is illuminated??

can anyone help

I have a FL Di from April 2000 and it does not have a low gas light.

That little orange light is a treacherous, untrustworthy little rascal!

You can have anything between 5 and 10 litres left.

my freelander low fuel light comes on if i park it uphill even if i got lots left in the tank ,parking it down hill the light stays off,

Treat quarter full as empty and you'll not go far wrong in my experience.

My V6 did 20 miles then ran out at 3 in the morning on a French motorway whilst driving to a ski resort. The wife was not impressed.

Aha, surprised to see that aswell my Td4 as my wife reacts in the same way.

You wanna try offering to pick your ex up from the airport in her car at 2am, stopping to fill up with diesel on the way back......

i never trust those lights i always fill up before it gets to a quarter left as any lower and you risk pulling up all the crap from the bottom of the tank
