It also depends on age - I have a 90 hard top classed as a light utility vehicle (and taxed as a light goods vehicle) but it was registered after January 1st 2002 so is deemed to 'meet the standard' for the LEZ.

That's not permanent though, in a few years it probably won't meet the LEZ standards :(

Does anyone know of any sat navs that have a option to avoid the LEZ? Nearly been caught out a couple of times seeing friends in Uxbridge.. You get all signs saying turn right now to avoid LEZ and follow directions to Slough to avoid LEZ and it's bloody hard work trying to get about without getting stung with a £150 fine! :mad:

What sort of landy do you have? All the landies on your profile look like station wagons.
 
No it's a van, I just put windows and seats in the back :)

Maybe I can get it re classified with the dvla or something?
Not a chance of getting it reclassified. If the VIN says it's a commercial, then I'm afraid it will always be a commercial.
