Well I've been playing all week in the snow and loving it.
Traction control flashing but no getting stuck.
We didn't get the deluge that was promised elsewhere so the levels of snow are not what some have had but just as slippy nonetheless.
Nice and toasty with heater working great, auto box as slick as you like and no dramas at all.
My Disco is ace.

+ 1 to loving it.... low ratio, diff lock, TC, had it all going on... really great! Plus toasty seats and CC set at 26 deg!

Managed to get mine stuck in a snow drift, though only about a foot deep! The tyres are road biased so not too surprising (Goodyear Efficient Grip 255/55/R18). Luckily I'd put a shovel in the boot that morning, so with that and shoving the rubber floor mats under the tyres we got it moving again. Apart from that, no slippy slidey moments and felt very capable. We usually miss out on the snow down here, so this was the first time it really got a chance to venture out in to the white stuff.

Heavy snow for first time in years here and my new purchase smashed it, nothing on roads and in work early...now this week, loads of traffic, road closures and an hour to do a ten min journey ! Never thought I would say this...bring back the snow !

Looooved the snow, I don't even have CDL, just basic TC and some cheap all terrain tyres, and my D2 pulled through the snow like it was nothing, no shoveling required. And thats spending 30-40 hours driving in it. Up steep mountain roads all day, pulling out about 10 rwd beamers, the few quattro cars, ferrying people round, then taking care working round through the night. Disco didn't stop and didn't let me down once :D:D

Difflock though puts it into a different league. Much more stable.
