Hi.
i have recently purchased a 2004 range rover td vogue.
the other day i was messing around with it on my dads drive. i checked the oil level and didnt push the dipstick back in correctly and suffered a 4 litre oil loss over a mile distance. now i have replaced the lost oil and the engine sounds fine but i am still concerned i have caused some damage. could anyone please let me know what they think.
all advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks
andy.

I'd suggest you move onto re-boring the cylinders and skimming the head, again on your dads drive, using a fish finger and an old ****mag, as you seem to have a knack for this mechanics thing.

ferkin ell storm every time ive got a gob full of tea/coffee/wine/port you go and post summat that maked me laugh and spray the contents all over me laptop - please have a bit more consideration

Ignore the nasty bad men......dont worry it'll be fine......4l oil loss per mile is normal for a Landy :D
