hi, everyone i'm new to this site, but hopefully someone can help a newbie, i had a new battery fitted to my 2006 RR vogue, ang although the screen comes on it has no gps signal when i checked the settings no latitude or longtitued ,! very frustrating,any help would be good thanks

If the old battery was disconnected without waiting for the red light to go out on the Satnav drive in the boot, it's probably wiped the flash memory. Expensive. Always pays to read the owners mmnual.

i wasn't at the garage when it was fitted ,so it would be difficult to know if all the correct procedures were followed,and also very difficult to prove otherwise, I'm between a rock and hardspot !!

If the GPS worked when it went in and not when it came out I would hold the garage responsible pointing out thet they have obviously failed to follow procedure.

tried that approach last week ,but unable to rectify, garages can be a pain sometimes and it would be hard to prove
