I have the new Range Rover - and have just replaced the instrument cluster after repair (all the pixels are now back at home) - unfortunately while screwing up the last screw in the dash I dropped the screw bit and it rolled down the dash into the air vent ------------- BOLLOCKS :mad:

I have has a small inspection camera from work but cannot see it - but I can hear it every corner - sliding inside the air duct work

Anyone kow how to get it out ??:confused:

What AP said ... or if you know a surgeon, see if he'll loan you an endoscope ....

Turn the rangie upside down. Magnet on a string sounds far more sensible though - or one of those magnets on an aerial you can get for getting your keys out of the drain.

No magnet needed, just turn it upside down and give it a good old shake!

turn the radio up so ya cant hear it,or if ya can see it with a camera tape a match to the camera then put some glue on the end of the match n glue the bit wear it lays, then yul not hear it rollin about!

Tell yer garage that you had £50 fuel money tucked in the vent and it fell through . Let em know that you're scared of it catching fire but if they can find it they can keep it as payment.;):D:D:D

do as ratty says put cake and custard in your ear though then you will be a TRIFLE deaf and you wont hear it.:p:D
