Just found out got no brake or reversing lights on Disco TD5, can anyone tell me are they on a comon fuse or do i have problems else were

I would look in the handbook for the Disco. Will give you a layout of fuses, what their rating is and will tell you which fuse is what number etc. Give that a go first.

Hi Mormond
Tried to post a lump from the Rave manual but can't 'cos the file size is too big. :rulez:
Drop me a PM with your email address and I'll send it to you.

Hi,

I had the same problem on Boxing day.Blew the fuse(under steering colum).gave the relay a rattle and hey presto! 2 days later it did it again. I'll try replacing the relay.

i had problems with failed brake light on my 300tdi just before xmas. it turned out to be a fault with the little steel 'wires' on the back of the light cluster that go to the bulbs. it was very slightly corroded (white colour) but still didnt work even when cleaned up, even though i could get a voltage when touching the surface of these wires on the back of the light cluster, so i ended up changing the whole cluster which solved the problem. it took me about four hours checking everything from fuses to trailor sockets, bulbs, wiring thinking it was the crappy scotch locks attached to the cluster wiring. i was pleased as punch when i got it working again cos it was about -1 while doing it :dizzy:

Hi all. I have the same problem. I have checked the 10A fuse at location 25 in the passengers comparment also checked the fused link 50A one in the engine compartment.
The fog light works and the high level brake light works. Any help would be appreciated.

Got your pm - don't think I can help having read the above post. Suggest you have a search for a recent link to a Rave download, hopefully someone will be along in a bit with an up to date link
