That would be my advise as well, if you cannot get the steering column to lock back into place after adjusting that sounds like a dealer problem to me. It is what you get for having such upmarket and modern functions on your land rover. There was nothing wrong with the old fashioned fixed steering column of a series that nicely acted as a spear through the chest in the case of a frontal impact.Take it back to the dealer.
Do you mean the column is loose and you can pull the steering wheel in and out?
Take it back

On a secondary note we really do need a separate section for all the modern electronic defender questions, the defender section of the forum is aimed at the beam axle ladder chassis models which are completely different to the new ones.
Thank you I willDo you mean the column is loose and you can pull the steering wheel in and out?

At least you noticed the jest in my comments regarding the newer ones and the superior nature of the older ones, unlike the last question regarding the new defender where I made similar comments and was accused of being mean to newcomers by the OP!The old ones is more cooler, thx
Now that I do agree with, was looking for some pictures recently for reference to try and work out how something (I forget what now) mounted on the back end and all I got was useless pictures of new ones. Either googles algorithm is prioritising the new ones, of someone has done a huge amount of search engine optimisation to prioritise the new one!it is causing confusion when it comes to spares/additions as well.
