I am ready for a comeback given I drive an L Series Freelander - which incidentally proves there's more than 1 good engine to come out of Rover.

Nothing un-interesting about the Discovery. It does everything I could ask of it and more. It does things I don't ask it to do too. It's not cheap motoring but it gives you a permagrin in much the same way as the Freelander, only bigger

Then you can spend a BAG OF SAND to replace a leaking plastic thermostat housing with another one and I paid less than 10 pound sterling.....And no leak in 2 years 35000 miles...
