Not sure if this is the right thread but Im new to the forum and Land Rovers! So looking at buying an ex-MOD LR 110 Tithanus. Its an '86, great shape, runs well and decently priced. Though I'm not expert on prices for LR but form looking around at some of the ones for sale and the quality, this seems to be the bees knees. I would be bringing this back to America in 3 years and have seen one other post about ex-MOD exporting but that was a few years ago. Does anyone have any info about exporting? It does meet the 25 year criteria and the engine will ('96 but same model) by the time I leave. I know I need a heritage certificate and am working that but any other info out there that I should know? Thanks in advance for any help!

Some recent threads here on this - have a search. It sounds like a bit of a minefield. I thought a replacement engine was a no no.

Yes its the same type of engine just newer so still good to go in a couple of years. Changing them out, you're correct big no no.
