This will be my first Land Rover so any advice would be appreciated

Im on the look for a Land Rover Discovery, i dont know much about them, im after one with the 2500cc desiel engine, ive heard talk about a 200 and 300 engine?

whats the best on to go for and why?

Im not botherd about age and to be honest i prefer the look of the older ones so is there a specific age i should be looking for?
